Matt Walker has given us a nice presentation on the importance of sleep. In this TED talk “Sleep is your superpower” Matt presents good information on WHY sleep is so important. In these times of “busy life” it is imperative that we learn to prioritize sleep.

Sleep is your life-support system and Mother Nature’s best effort yet at immortality, says sleep scientist Matt Walker. In this deep dive into the science of slumber, Walker shares the wonderfully good things that happen when you get sleep — and the alarmingly bad things that happen when you don’t, for both your brain and body. Learn more about sleep’s impact on your learning, memory, immune system and even your genetic code — as well as some helpful tips for getting some shut-eye. Get TED Talks recommended just for you! We hear over and over how important sleep is for us, but usually tend to just “push through”. Sleep tends to be one of things we think we can catch up on later. This presentation reminds us once again how important sleep really is for us and that it is not something we can or should put off until later.

Remember to sleep!
Best Regards,
